League Sponsors Ladbrokes taking the lead on Backing Responsible Gambling in Scotland

League Sponsors Ladbrokes are announcing the first major Scottish sponsorship partnership, with a dedicated responsible gambling element for the remainder of their Scottish Professional Football League Sponsorship.

Ladbrokes have been the proud sponsors of the SPFL for the last three seasons. From November 2018, they will be working collaboratively to promote responsible gambling messages to both players and fans at all Scottish grounds.

The Backing Responsible Gambling campaign will see responsible gambling badges worn on players shirts during the 2019/20 season, full/half page responsible gambling adverts in all match programmes, dedicated LED boards and interview backdrops advertising the campaign. Instead of their normal logo and slogans, fans will see the When the Fun Stops, STOP message along with Backing Scottish Football.

They have also teamed up with ex footballer and reformed problem gambler John Hartson to assist them in ensuring that their messages are getting to the heart of the problem as well as utilising Johns extensive knowledge to hold talks and offer his support to the campaign.
